Platform FAQ
Character publishing, review, and discovery rules
This page explains how private characters, paid public publishing, admin review, popularity, and public safety checks work across Girlfriendly AI.
Private by default
Everyone can create private characters. Free users stay private unless they upgrade.
Paid public submission
Premium, Deluxe, Ultimate, and admins can submit characters for public review.
Compliance check
Hard-rule blockers keep risky characters private. Softer quality signals go to admin review.
Admin approval
Approved characters become visible in discovery and can rank in newest and popularity feeds.
Public Rules
What public review checks
Private creation is flexible, but public discovery needs stricter standards. These are the high-level rule groups enforced by the public submission flow.
Original characters only
private-only if matchedPublic characters should not copy protected franchises, recognizable fictional characters, direct storylines, celebrities, influencers, or other real people.
Adults only
private-only if matchedPublic characters cannot include minors, under-18 framing, loli/shota framing, or school settings used to imply underage sexual content.
No family or coercion framing
private-only if matchedPublic submissions cannot be built around incest, family play, non-consent, coercion, kidnapping, drugging, slavery, grooming, or forced sex work.
Restricted fetish and hate content
private-only if matchedPublic characters cannot center scat, vomit, vore, bestiality, animal genitalia, hate, slurs, racial degradation, or prohibited religious figure roleplay.
Quality review
manual reviewShort descriptions, thin scenario/personality fields, and weak greetings are flagged for admin review so public characters have enough detail for good roleplay.
Reference-image review
manual reviewUploaded or URL-prefilled imagery is flagged for extra review because public characters should avoid unauthorized likeness, deepfake, and reference-photo risk.
